Elmex Solar PV Solar Panel connectors EMPVPCM4N-EX and EMPVPCF4N-EX are applicable for panel mounting connection. They are constructed using flame retardant engineering thermoplastic suitable for exposure to UV rays and for application in PV power generation system.
Elmex Solar PV Panel Connectors for solar applications
Elmex Solar Panel Connectors are designed for use in connection for photovoltaic devices like:
- DC Distribution Block,
- Inverters,
- String Combiner Box, etc.
These connectors are provided with hexagonal nut for fixing and tightening it on a mounting surface. A silicon rubber o-ring is provided as standard between panel connector surface and the wall of the photovoltaic enclosure, ensuring protection against ingress of water & dust.
Also provided as standard with the Elmex Panel Connector is the sealing caps that prevent dust and water ingress until the connector is finally mated. These are also available and sold separately for use with all other Elmex Solar Connectors.
Elmex Solar Panel Connectors have mating compatibility not only with Elmex Straight Connectors but also with straight connectors of leading international makes having similar construction.
IET Electrical Code of Practice
The connectors when mated are IP68 and need an unlocking tool EPVOS-S to open them in accordance with IET Code of Practice for Grid Connected Solar Photovoltaic Installations 2022 and NEC 2014.
