The installers  G Knights Electrical from Leiston needed to find a time switch to save energy and control the residential communal corridors and stairs across the lighting circuit. The Elkay 350A-1 fitted the bill because it fitted in the 25mm back box comfortably and provided a locator ring to enable the occupants to fins the switch in the dark.
