Elkay have the only 2 wire electronic switch in the world that can switch a contactor. This is the 400NE Electronic Columbus Timer and can switch up to 5A of load. A capacitor is required at the A1 and A2 (switch live and neutral of the contactor) points of the contactor. No other Elkay 2 wire switch is capable of this so if you require an alternative then you can also use the 3 wire electronic timers from our range instead.

There is no such thing as a intermediate time switch – Replace the intermediate switch with an additional activator and see points 25 and 26 above.

Then you can use either our Columbus Pneumatic 400A or Electronic Timers 400NE or use our Standard Push button 350B-1 or our Standard PIR 376B-1. You can wire multiple units together in these products so for 3 switches in a circuit use 3 x 350B-1. These products were specifically designed for this purpose.
